Author Jason Alba has the answer to that question and more. Turns out that LinkedIn can be an important component of your networking and self-promotion efforts. Jason will walk us through a guided tour of clear principles and powerful strategies for getting the most out of LinkedIn.

Jason Alba is the job seeker and networking advocate. He got laid off in January 2006, just a few weeks after Christmas. Even though he had great credentials and it was a job-seeker’s market, Jason could hardly get a job interview. Finally he decided to step back and figure out the job search process, including trying to understand all of the available resources. Within a few months he had designed a personal job search tool, JibberJobber.com, which helps professionals manage career and job search activities the same way a salesman manages prospects and customer data.

Congratulations to APCC 2007 Award Winners

Consulting Success proudly announces the APCC 2007 awards recipients. This year the organization gives three awards: one client award for the Honor Roll of Excellence in Communication, a member award for Excellence in Writing for Publication, and a member award for Excellence in Writing for a Client. Winners were revealed at the annual APCC business meeting in Washington, DC, on October 12, 2007.
